Jen Roby
I’m a mixed media artist based in the Roaring Fork Valley. My work plays with textured mediums, as well as turning mountains into maps. I love to use layered materials to capture the shape of a place and how it feels to be there.

After summiting all of Colorado’s 14ers, I turned my attention to exploring the vivid landscapes of the Southwest. Later, after solo bike-packing across the entire state of Colorado, I developed an even deeper connection with the mountains and terrain that surrounds me. Each piece reflects the balance I find in nature between structure and spontaneity.
