I never had a proper Art Show. I have done an gallery opening in the past, and small installations, however an Art Show with heavy foot traffic – whew it both excited and scared me. I’ve always wanted to be at the Blue Star, which is a large Art Complex along the Riverwalk. It hosts hundreds of international artists from around the world and seems to be a high achievement for any artist. So you can imagine my excitement when they accepted my application to participate! It just felt fitting to return back home after 13 years and show my hometown how I’ve progressed. I didn’t tell many people, but the I told all showed up without me expecting the visit. I’m so happy I got to celebrate this event with my family and friends and had a successful first art show.
