COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Recently had the pleasure of being a guest artist for the Aspen Middle School art program! Ranging in all ages, I came into this class of 15-20 kids and taught them the basics of watercolor painting. We went over color theory, brush strokes and I gave them a quick exercise over layout and composition. Fostering each individual, I walked around the classroom to assist them in drawing techniques, including a festive tree, fall pumpkin, and my specialty of mountain sceneries. The creativity of a child never ceases to amaze me.
